The new standards for the production of chocolate and cocoa

As noted in the embassy, ??in contrast to the requirements of the national standard of Ukraine (GOST), which is voluntary, European requirements are mandatory for execution.

In this case, according to the Directive No. 2000/36 / EC of the European Parliament and the Council of the EU, only "chocolate" can be called that contains at least 35% of cocoa products.

Thus, milk chocolate should contain at least 25% of cocoa products and at least 14% of dairy products, and in white not less than 20% of cocoa butter and at least 14% of dairy products. In addition, in a chocolate candy with a filling should be at least 25% chocolate.



Also, according to European requirements, cocoa can be called a product in which the mass fraction of cocoa butter is not less than 20%.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman said that the volume of exports of domestic products in the current year increased by almost 20%. So, for 9 months of 2017, the total amount of foreign exchange earnings that entered Ukraine is $ 35 billion. He also stressed that almost 40% of Ukrainian exports are the share of the European Union.
