The NBU Board on Wednesday, December 27, abolished the requirement for individual licenses of the National Bank of Ukraine for the export of banking metals by an individual with a weight exceeding 500 grams. As the press service of the regulator informs, permission for the export of bank metals in this amount will be possible provided that the customs authority declares in writing and on the basis of documents confirming the acquisition by this person of banking metals in authorized banks and / or in the National Bank in full.
In addition, the requirement to obtain legal permission from the National Bank for the import of banking metal produced by a non-resident under a contract for the processing of give-and-take raw materials, if these bank metals are fully sold in the National Bank.
It is sufficient to have a contract on the basis of which the processing was carried out, as well as contracts for the supply of banking metals to the National Bank. Corresponding changes are fixed by the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine No. 142 of 26. 12. 2017 "On Amending the Instruction on the Movement of Cash and Bank Metals across the Customs Border of Ukraine", which enters into force on December 28, 2017.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the National Bank allowed "Ukrposhta" to carry out currency exchange operations.
