The expert council of the Federal Industrial Development Fund approved the granting of a concessional loan to OOO Bogoslovskiy Cable Plant (BKZ, Krasnoturinsk) in the amount of 305 million rubles, according to the information policy department of the governor. The total cost of the project is 765 million rubles.

According to Igor Zelenkin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Science of the Sverdlovsk Region, the implementation of the BKZ LLC project is aimed at ensuring sustainable socio-economic development of the region in accordance with the principles and objectives of the Governor's Program Five-Year Development Program for 2017-2021.

"The site in the city of Krasnoturinsk will become one of the points of growth in the cable industry in Russia. Here we will set up the production of import-substituting products that do not have domestic analogues, "said Igor Zelenkin.

With the help of a loan from the FRP, BKZ LLC plans to organize in the Sverdlovsk Region the manufacture of three types of cable and wire products for petrochemical production and general industrial consumption: oil submersible cable, flexible aluminum cable and self-supporting insulated wires according to patented technology. The products are oriented to the domestic market of Russia. Instead of traditionally used copper, aluminum alloys will be used as raw materials. The new products will cost about 30-40% lower than copper-containing analogs and at the same time will retain operational properties relative to prototypes. Analogues of a flexible aluminum cable and a submersible cable in Russia are not currently produced.

The general director of BKZ, Vladimir Savchenko, said that the proceeds of the loan are planned to be spent on the acquisition of equipment, the installation and commissioning of the equipment.

"With the help of the FRP loan, we plan not only to organize modern progressive production, but also contribute to the solution of social problems, because we create high-performance jobs in a single-discipline municipal entity," said Vladimir Savchenko.

The production will be located in two production buildings leased from the Bogoslovsky Aluminum Plant. Before the loan was received, the equipment was purchased and installed in a drawing-twisting shop, production of small batches of flexible cores made of aluminum alloys. Completed design work on the reconstruction of the workshop for the production of cable and wire products, work was begun on the reconstruction of the second workshop - the workshop for the production of cable and wire products.

On the eve, issues related to the development of the cable products market, the protection of the interests of enterprises producing quality products were discussed at a meeting of the State Commission for Combating Illicit Trafficking in Industrial Products, which was held by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. Participation in the meeting in the mode of videoconferencing was also accepted by the governor Evgeny Kuyvashev, whose proposals on increasing the share of high-quality products in the construction and mass markets were supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the professional community.
