Officials will raise salaries

Federal officials, diplomats and justice workers will start receiving higher salaries from the New Year. The relevant decree on civil service was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The addition to the salary will be small, but pleasant - 4%. Thus, the salary is actually indexed on the size of the projected inflation. The government expects that by the end of the year it will not exceed 3.7%. The current increase in salaries will be the first for officials in four years, notes Ura. en. The last time they were encouraged by the ruble in 2013.

"Increase from January 1, 2018 g. in 1.04 times the amount of monthly salaries of diplomatic employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Russian Federation, territorial bodies - representations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with diplomatic ranks assigned to them; the monthly salaries of federal state civil servants; the monthly salaries of federal state civil servants in accordance with the class ranks of justice assigned to them, "says the presidential decree, which was published on the official portal of legal information.

The order will concern a huge category of officials. In particular, salaries will be raised for Kremlin employees, government apparatuses, the Federation Council and the State Duma, employees of ministries, departments, including their divisions in the regions, Constitutional and Supreme Court apparatuses, as well as courts of general jurisdiction, arbitration courts, prosecutors, Investigative Committee and the Accounts Chamber.

The document also states that with an increase in salaries and other payments, their amounts should be rounded up to a whole ruble - upwards. All costs for the increase of salaries will be borne by the government, which must find in the budget the necessary amount.



Earlier this week, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev ordered an increase of 4% in salaries for "employees of federal state bodies that replace posts that are not federal state civil service posts," employees of federal treasury, budget and autonomous institutions, employees of federal state bodies, as well as civilians personnel of military units and employees of institutions and units of federal executive bodies, where a military and equivalent service is provided for.

The increase in salaries is a planned one. Not so long ago, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that in 2018. the average growth in wages of Russians will be about 4%. At the same time, employees of the budgetary sphere will have to receive an increase of 15-20%.
