These funds will be allocated to the city specifically for the expansion of the subway. Another 160 million euros the city will receive from the investment bank. Such data was disseminated by the press service of the EBRD.

The loan for the next 18 years will be used to build two metro stations, as well as a car depot. In addition, the money will go to purchase a new rolling stock. EBRD financing of these projects will be supplemented by an EIB loan of the same size - also stated in the message. It is known that the extension of the Kharkov metro line by 3.5 kilometers and the construction of the Derzhavinskaya and Odesskaya stations will ensure a reduction in traffic flows in the city.

As reported URA-Inform, the metro to Troyeschina will be 18 kilometers long.
