Bill No. 6776-d was supported by 252 deputies, 13 voted against, abstained 23, and another 64 did not vote.
Thus, the deputies allowed the import of electric vehicles without payment of value-added tax and excises.
Recall that in Ukraine over the past few years there has been an increase in demand for electric vehicles. More than a third of Ukrainians want to buy a non-petrol car.
Today, most electric cars go on the roads of Kiev, Odessa and Kharkov regions.
As reported URA-Inform, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, December 7, introduced amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine. The corresponding law "On Amending the Tax Code of Ukraine to ensure the balance of budget revenues in 2018" was supported by 252 people's deputies.
