Currently, there are several types of roaming in the country: national, intranet and roaming in the Crimea.

Intranet calls roaming within the network of a particular operator, the prices in it differ by region. National roaming is included when a network of some telecommunications operator is absent in one or another region of Russia. Communications and Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov earlier said that the Ministry of Communications and the Federal Antimonopoly Service will by the end of 2017 offer solutions that will allow to remove intranet roaming from the tariffs of the Big Four as early as 2018.
