A 300-kilometer tourist route will be built along the Odesa Oblast

The next year in the Odessa region may appear a new tourist route "Podorozhuy active Pivdennoyu Palmyrou", the length of which will be 295.12 km.

As the press service of Odessa Regional State Administration informs, the novelty will become part of the pilot project for the development of active tourism in Ukraine. In particular, it is planned to create a separate large tourist route, which should link the three southern regions of Ukraine: Odessa, Nikolaev and Kherson,.

The tourist route "South Palmira" will contain more than 16 tourist sites. It will begin from the fortress "Izmail", on the territory of which there is a significant number of monuments of national importance, religious tourism sites, a large dendrological park.

Among the tourist sites of the route - Vilkovo, the length of the canals is 72 km. Also, tourists will be able to visit the Akkerman Fortress, the National Nature Park "Tuzlovsky Limans", the famous Odessa catacombs and other architectural attractions.



In addition, the list of facilities includes entertainment and sports facilities: a water park, a diving center, a racecourse and equestrian club, a wate park and a club for mountaineers.

It is assumed that the project "Inexpensive Active Pivdennoy Palmyrou" will receive full marking in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. In particular, 37 indicative tourist signs, 21 tourist information signs and one tourist sign at the beginning and end = of the road (r. Izmail, Izmail fortress and. Kalinovka).
