According to the information of the department, the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament separately approved the agreement concluded on November 18, 2017 in the budget commission of 2018.
The European Parliament and the EU Council share the same two main priorities for the fiscal year 2018. Namely, combating migration and security, as well as stimulating innovation, growth and employment in Europe.
According to the budget, in order to solve problems related to migration and security, the agencies in the field of security and citizenship issues will allocate 940 million euros, which is 8.9% more than in 2017.

2 billion euros will be allocated for the Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. Expenses for the Erasmus + program will grow by 12.1%, that is, up to 2.3 billion euros.
As previously reported in "URA-Inform", the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to resume financing of the program for the construction of military ships such as "corvette". This program provides for the construction of four ships of the project 58250 type "Vladimir the Great".
