"The decisions taken by the president, for citizens, for the country, are of a strategic nature and it must be stressed that these decisions were made at a time when the economy is just emerging from a recession," Volodin stressed.. According to him, this year the Russian economy will grow slightly against the backdrop of existing sanctions, which significantly affect the state of affairs in the country. The Speaker of the State Duma noted that in the current situation the initiatives voiced by the head of the country are of great value. First of all, the president's proposals will be addressed to low-income young families. For example, maternity capital is proposed to be extended until the end of 2021.
