According to the decision of the department from January 1, 2018 in Ukraine, the cost of wire telephony will significantly increase. As reported on Tuesday, November 28, director of corporate communications of Ukrtelecom Mikhail Shuranov, such a decision is justified by the economic situation.
In his opinion, it will allow the operator to bring the cost of services closer to the cost level.
At the same time, the director recalled that the last time his agency revised tariffs in 2016 and was based on the cost of services in the 4th quarter of 2015. Now the current size of the marginal tariffs for fixed telephony is lower than the cost of providing the service, he said, adding that the proposed changes to the marginal tariffs for 2018 will, on average, raise the price by 8.3%.
In particular, for home users, the cost of marginal tariffs for subscribers residing in cities will increase by three hryvnia, and for subscribers living in the village, five hryvnia.
The decision of the NCCR will come into force after registration with the Ministry of Justice.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, from March 1, 2018 "Ukrtelecom" to receive telegrams from citizens will no longer be. The decision to terminate the provision of telegraph services for all categories of consumers was made in connection with a significant reduction in the number of telegrams sent, which is associated with the development of electronic communication channels and the dissemination of the use of digital signatures.
