Real wages have grown substantially in Ukraine - Gosstat

The average nominal wage of full-time employees in October compared with September 2017 increased by 0.4%. In the annual measurement, the salary increased by 37.9%, amounting to 7377 hryvnia.

In September, the salary was 7351 mane, in August - 7114 hryvnia, in July - 7339 hryvnia, in June - 7360 hryvnia, in May - 6840 hryvnia, in April - 6659 hryvnia, in March - 6752 hryvnia, in February - 6209 hryvnia, in January - 6008 UAH.

Such data on Tuesday, November 28, was published by the State Statistical Service.

According to the agency, the largest increase in the average salary of regular employees in October this year compared with October 2016 was observed in Ternopil, where growth was 54%. In the Chernivtsi region, growth was 51.4%, Kirovograd - 48.9%, Transcarpathian - 48.6%, Khmelnitsky - 48.4%, Kherson - 47%, Vinnitsa and Cherkassy - 46.9%, Sumy and Zhitomir - 46 , 7%, Ivano-Frankivsk - 45.3%, Volyn - 45.2%, Chernigov - 44.9%, Lviv - 44.

1%, Poltava - 43.3%, the Kharkov - 42.2% and in the regions city ??of Kiev - 30.9%.

In the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, excluding part of the ATU zone, wage growth was 20.8% and 22.4%, respectively.

The highest level of wages in the past month recorded in Kiev - 11454 hryvnia, the lowest in the Chernivtsi region - 5772 hryvnia.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, real wages in Ukraine in September 2017 compared with September last year increased by 17.3%.
