On their example, the guys want to show that after returning from the war you can live a normal life, the main thing is to find a lesson for the soul.

"Will you have some coffee?" - from the threshold asked Vlad, one of the owners of a small coffee shop "Kul", which was sheltered by a shop on the first floor of the "Children's World".

"What do you usually propose?" - we are interested in.

- Depending on the time of day, - explains partner Vlada Danil. - In the mornings, if a person comes in somnolent, something stronger - doppio, flat white. Recommended «Kulu 7. 62 and Kulu 5. 45 "- our signature coffee.

- There is also ginger tea, - adds Vlad. - Recently the woman asked the sea-buckthorn, I say: "For your sake we will do it". Sell ??marshmallow - marshmallow, it is added to cocoa. It is done in Kharkov, handmade. In some species there is alcohol - I myself have not tried it, I rarely drink alcohol. In war, alcohol and drugs are unacceptable. Maximum - cigarettes. (Laughs). ) Danya never tried smoking in his life. Nobody believes, but it's true.

From the institute to the war, Vlad Knigin came to Kharkov from Zmiyiv. Prior to the war he studied at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management for a practical psychologist. After the fifth year in the summer of 2014 he volunteered for Azov.

- I was not fit for army, I have a "white" ticket, - he says. - I'm allergic, in May begins seasonal exacerbation - snot, tears, eyes ache. In Kiev, a commission was held - everything is fine. Time was like this - it was necessary to go.

About a year the soldier served in the infantry, then commanded anti-aircraft guns. At various times, the regiment was based in the village of Urzuf in the former summer residence of Yanukovich, in the village of Yuryevka on the shore of the Azov Sea and in Mariupol.

- My first serious departure was to Granitnoe, - Vlad recalls. - We lived in a tunnel 300 meters long, right in the mountain. Then, in February 2015, there was Shirokin's offensive operation, I was acting as a squad leader.

The native of Lugansk Danil Posoluhno went to war around the same time as Vlad, in the summer of 2014. I entered a veterinarian, but I did not have time to finish my education - I got my diploma after returning from the front.

"Initially, I came to the infantry division, we had an assault company," he says.. - The very next day I got to the position. Vlad at that time was the commander, was the calculation of "Zuushki" we were transferred to him. After that, he commanded a detachment in an infantry company, was a platoon commander, then for a long time - a machine gunner.

Last summer, July 23, in the village of Kominternovo near Mariupol, Vlad was injured, but continued to fight.

- Nothing foretold troubles, I went to the improvised kitchen, a mine landed, literally three meters from me burst, - recalls the fighter. - Several fragments remained in the face, tore the tendon on the leg. I learned to walk again, I went through a course of rehabilitation, then went back to serve. Till now it is difficult to walk, the leg does not fit into the Bertz.

Danil resigned from "Azov" in 2016, his combat friend - in the summer of 2017. Vlad held in ATU a total of more than 1000 days. On Independence Day, from the hands of the president, he received the award "For Vijskov Service of Ukraine".

Business with those who do not set up To open their business "Azovtsi" conceived while they were in ATO - they did not intend to work in the specialty after dismissal.

- The salary of practical psychologists is small, and then private practice to lead, it takes ten years. I would not like to survive so long, - says Vlad.

- At the moment I do not want to associate myself with veterinary medicine, I will try to be realized in business, - continues Danil. - Our idea was supported by my fellow countryman Roman, in the war he was a grenade launcher.

With money on the startup, the soldiers were helped by acquaintances - both civil and combat brothers from Azov.

"We had a starting capital that was minimal, so we wanted to start to open ourselves to try this business ourselves, and people found out about us," says Danil.

Initially, the coffee house was planned to open in a large shopping center, but there the children were refused.

"Unfortunately, there was no place at all - there is a limit of coffee houses," Vlad says.. - When I called the shopping center and said that I want to open a coffee shop, I was asked: "Are you already represented somewhere? ". They are afraid of nonprofessionals and do not want to cooperate. But here a very good man went to meet us, we pay part of the lease, agreed on favorable terms.

From the idea of ??buying a franchise from ATU veterans from other cities who successfully launched their startups, the twin brothers refused: they wanted to do business from scratch.

- To buy a franchise is, roughly speaking, to buy a ready-made business, - says Vlad. - We at OLX found a man, a 60-year-old grandfather, who did everything to us.

The owners of "Coolie" are learning along the way. Help and knowledge gained in the war - for example, thanks to the English courses, which "Azov" launched last summer, the guys were able to translate the instructions to the coffee machine. Working responsibilities were divided equally among themselves.

- Danil deals with contracts, the delivery of coffee, - explains Vlad. - I - technical issues that he does not have time - with electricity, for example, or running water. Roma - layout on the computer, printing leaflets, logo. Very good business on trust. We came from the war, I know that these people will not set me up tomorrow.

The charge of piercing energy The guys are convinced that the most important thing for the military who have returned from the war zone is to occupy themselves - this is the way to overcome the post-traumatic syndrome and start a normal life in a civilian.

- In "Azov" we had a full-time psychologist, we could always talk to him, - Vlad recalls. - This year I passed the commission, first of all for myself, did not find any deviations. But we in Ukraine do not yet have a normal psychological rehabilitation. On the opening day, a woman came and asked: "Are you under whom?" "In our country, people are used to the fact that everything must necessarily be rooted, we refute it and are open to all.

The military assures that during the first week of work in "Kul" many customers have come. Business they lead "in a white".

- At us now as: the person when comes after АТО, either it is closed in itself, sits at home and does not quit, or goes to be engaged in illegal things, - Danil picks up. - Of course, if you come from the war, you will stay at home and do nothing, you will have different thoughts. Some can not find themselves in this life and again return there. But there must be a limit to everything. A man must find some channel and develop in it. We want to show that after the war you can normally and officially earn, develop your business, do everything legally.

Veterans of military operations and members of the All-Ukrainian Union of ATU participants (in the organization, in particular, volunteers are included) in Kul provide discounts of 30%. In the mornings, from 9:30 to 11:00, ordinary Kharkiv citizens can get a nice bonus. When the business reaches a payback, the owners of the coffee house are going to transfer part of the money to the military and families to the dead.

- Unfortunately, by 2017 people have become very stale, - says Vlad. - Everything gets bored - both war and death. Some say: they say Azov did not fight, Azov stayed ... I know the guys who were left without legs, gave their lives, was about 30 goodbyes to the dead. In February, my friend died at the front, he was born in 1997 - 11 months in ATU, he did not have a month to return home.

People think that there is nothing there anymore, that everything has ended, but the war continues.

In the next few days, the guys will conduct Wi-Fi in the "Kulyu", and in the near future they plan to expand the assortment. The name of the coffee house owners is recommended not to be taken literally.

"For me, a bullet is something that rushes and flies to the target," explains Danil. - We charge people. Our slogan is "Kava, scho charging with a penetrating power".

Dmitry Kuzubov 2day. kh. ua.
