It is reported that from January to today the production of chocolate increased by three percent compared to the same period in 2016 - 137 thousand tons of sweet product.
It is noteworthy that the production of sugar confectionery products for October increased by 16 percent by analogy with the same month in 2016, and by November this figure had risen by as much as 35 percent.
The production of sweet biscuits and waffles grew by two percent and amounted to 214 thousand tons, which is six percent more than in the 10 months of last year 2016. Experts named the year 2017 the most profitable for "chocolate" entrepreneurs, and 2016 was unprofitable.
As reported in "URA-Inform", the Ukrainian state for eight months of 2017 increased the production of chocolate products, as well as products containing cocoa by 20 percent.
