In Ukraine today celebrate the main state holiday, officially called the Day of Dignity and Freedom. On this day four years ago in Kiev began Maydan and gosproryvorot, steeply turned the history of the country. While politicians break their spears, arguing how satisfied the political demand of the Ukrainian revolution was, the economic results of these four years can be said quite clearly, and this result is lamentable, first of all, for the population of Nezalezhnaya. Unrestrained price growth - inflation for these years was 87% - it hit hard on ordinary Ukrainians. At the same time, salaries in nominal terms seem to have grown, but it happened against the background of the collapse of the national currency, which fell much faster than the incomes of the population rose. So the average salary in the country, which at the end of the end of 2013 was 3619 hryvnia by the end of 2017, increased to 7360 hryvnia. But if the dollar was worth 8 hryvnia at the start of the Maidan, now it is necessary to pay for it already 26-27 hryvnia, and the euro has risen in price, respectively, from 11 to 31 hryvnia, writes strana. ua. That is, before the revolution in Ukraine, the average salary in dollar terms was $ 443, and now - slightly less than 280. Perceptible, is not it?. At the same time, prices rushed upward at a gallop. Especially sensitive for Ukrainians was the increase in the cost of utilities - in many positions they grew 5-10 times. For greater clarity, we will lay tariffs of housing and communal services in the table.

Year 2013 2017 Electricity 0,26-0,33 UAH per kW / h 0,9 - 1,68 UAH per kW / h The rent 2,41 UAH / m2 5,85 UAH / m2 Gas 0,93 UAH / m3 6, 95 UAH / m3 Cold water 3,18 UAH / m3 15,79 UAH / m3 Heating 2,91 UAH / m2 32,91 UAH / m2 Hot water 16 UAH m3 84 UAH / m3 Data are given on the Kiev tariffs Source: strana. And if on average the content of a 50-meter apartment in the capital of the Nezalezhnaya for a family of four people cost four years approximately in about 490 UAH, but now this load on the budgets of Ukrainian households has increased by 5.5! !! !! times and reached 2 666 UAH. But it was not only the communal. Prices for most food products, including those that are produced and grown inside the country, increased by 2-3 times.

Year 2013 2017 Bread wheat 4,78 12,35 Beef 54,17 111 Milk 7.7 17.6 Salo 23.89 68 Butter 60 60 Sunflower oil 14.55 32.82 Buckwheat 9,11 22,17 Figure 7, 7 19.54 Potatoes 3.3 6.18 Source: strana. The price of gasoline has also risen in price - the cost of gasoline A 95 has risen over the years from UAH 16 to UAH 27.53 per liter, diesel fuel - from 15-16 to 25.32 UAH. In two and a half times the cost of a trip in the metro, twice - on land transport. So, wherever you throw, for Ukrainians everywhere a wedge. However, this applies not only to the population of Nezalezhnaya, but also to the whole country. All these years, Ukraine stood with an outstretched hand in front of the West and not only did not pay off the already existing state debt at the dawn of the Maidan, but also increased it. At the moment it is $ 76.06 billion.

or about 80% of GDP, that is, its burden for every Ukrainian is $ 1.76 thousand. For the Ukrainian authorities, this has already turned into running around - to beg for new loans to pay off on old. And although in Kiev they shout that GDP is growing, experts are looking at the situation quite differently. "GDP growth, reported from the Pechersk Hills, is not due to expansion and modernization of production, but due to inflation and devaluation processes. All growth - in UAH, not dollars. After all, if we talk about the dollar level, then it is lower than in 2006, "- said 112. ua the director of special projects of SEC "Psyche" Gennady Ryabtsev. Now, according to his claims, the figure barely exceeds $ 93 billion. , and after all four years ago it was more than $ 183 billion. Over the past four years, production in industry has fallen by almost a third in the country, which was primarily due to the severance of ties with Russia. Now many enterprises of Nezalezhnaya lost orders, raw materials, markets. For them, prices for gas and coal became prohibitive, and energy resources were also in short supply. But in fact before they received them at super-favorable prices. It seems that now one of the main sources of income for Kiev could be the sale of right and left its richest lands as other liquid assets have practically no. And the West is pushing hard the law on the privatization of farmland. There are other depressing facts: in 2013-2016, according to official figures, the number of economically active population of the country decreased by 2.8 million people, leaving it and labor migrants - their number decreased by 1.2 million people, which also does not indicate economic health of Ukraine. Naturally, this could not but affect the place of the Nezalezhnaya in international ratings. In order to have some starting point, let's compare its results with the results of Russia, which, precisely because of the confrontation with the neighbor who has developed and spreading hate streams, was under sanctions. So, in the World Bank's Doing Business ranking, Ukraine now ranks 76th (in 2013 it was 137), while Russia rose in four years from 112th to 35th place. In the global innovation rating INSEAD Non-Lise improved its result from 71 to 50 places, and the Russian Federation moved from 62 to 45.

In the index of economic freedom of the research center "The Heritage Foundation", which he does together with the newspaper The Wall Street Journal, Ukrainians have completely dropped from 162 to 166, while Russia has improved its result and now does not take 153 but higher 114th place.

Well, in conclusion, we present the data of the World Report on Happiness (World Happiness Report), which is published annually by the United Nations. In it, Nezalezhnaya dropped in the after-mentioned years from 87th to 132nd place, while Russia rose from 68th place to 49th. Eloquently.
