The Ministry stressed that the amount of pensions at least maintained at the same level under any circumstances and regardless of the category of pensioners.

The authorities will index payments based on last year's inflation rate, as well as adjustments to pensions for working pensioners in August. The department was reminded that this year the pension payments will be indexed by 5.8%, which is higher than the level of last year's inflation by 0.4%.
