Member of the Federation Council Committee on Budget and Financial Markets, First Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel considers insufficient the amount of grain harvested for 2017. According to the representative of the executive body of state power from the Sverdlovsk region, in the next year it is necessary to sow more land "We have 40 thousand hectares of unspoiled,. On all TV screens we are delighted with the collected 130 million tons of grain, but from this quantity we sell 30 million more. A detailed analysis has long been made, and if the state feeds itself completely, it must grow one ton per person.

This means that 150 million tons of grain is needed in our country to provide for itself, "said Eduard Rossel.

It should be noted that this year more than 128 million tons of grain was harvested on Russian fields, which is a record indicator in the country since 1978. However, because of the increased supply, the prices for grains fell very much, which gave cause for concern to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Representatives of farms, in turn, said that they have such records because of the huge losses are not needed.
