IMF worsened outlook on inflation in Ukraine

At the same time, the IMF decided not to change the outlook for the growth of the Ukrainian economy, leaving it at 2%. According to the regional economic forecast for Europe published on Monday, November 13, the inflation forecast for 2018 was worsened by 0.4 percentage points to 10%, and by 2019 - was worsened by 0.5 percentage points, to 7%.

In addition, IMF experts forecast an increase in domestic demand in 2017 by 4.1%, in 2018 - by 4%, in 2019 - by 4.2%.



The share of investments in GDP in 2017 will also increase by 21%, in 2018 - by 23.2%, in 2019 - by 25.1%. Unemployment in the country in 2017 is 9.5%, in 2018 - 9.3%, in 2019 - 8.8%, and the public debt to GDP will increase in 2017 - 86.2%, in 2018 - 83 , 5%, in 2019 - 77.9%.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, International rating agency S & P Global Ratings on Monday, November 13, confirmed the long-term and short-term sovereign credit ratings of Ukraine in foreign and local currency at the level of "B- / B".
