Pesa Company delivered 4 more out of 40 trams to the Ukrainian capital, and four more Polish trams will be delivered in the coming days. This is reported by the General with reference to the National Industrial Portal.
Deliveries of a party of 40 new trams to Kiev from Poland continue. Following the first car already operating on the expressway to Borshchagovka, four trams are already being taken from the plant in Bydgoszcz to Kiev by trailers.
Recall, in July of this year Pesa won a tender for the supply of 40 low-floor trams to Kiev. The cost of a frame order between Kyivpastrans and Pesa is 61 million euros.
The manufacturer predicts that every week from the plant in Bydgoszcz will send four trams to Kiev.
The contract provides for the delivery of all equipment by the end of 2017.
In total, "Pesa" will deliver 40 new trams to Kiev "Pesa Twist Foxtrot 71414K". They will be three-section, length 26 meters, with the presence of 60 passenger seats in the cabin. Warranty period - 36 months.
New Polish trams will operate on the Right-Bank High-Speed ??Tram Line, which connects Borshchagovka with the railway station. Now there are 10 such trains on the line that were delivered in 2016 and the eleventh from the party of 2017.
