Thus, grain legumes and cereals were harvested from 13.4 million hectares (92%) with an average yield of 41.2 centners per hectare. Such data were recently received from the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
It is known that the agrarians, for example, collected buckwheat - 195 thousand tons - from 178 thousand hectares (98%), and millet - 81 thousand tons from 55 thousand hectares (98% of the plan), and corn - 16.9 million tons - from 3.3 million hectares (74%). Also, sunflower was harvested - 11.6 million tons - from 5.8 million hectares (98 percent of the plan), soybean - 3.5 million tons - from 1.8 million hectares.
