Currently, the NBU is negotiating with the IMF regarding the possibility of revising the schedule for raising the minimum level of the authorized capital.

Deputy Head of the NBU noted that the regulator allows for a review of the capitalization of banks.



"If we talk about the requirement to increase the authorized capital to UAH 200 million, then six banks have not yet fulfilled it," Rozhkova said..

According to her, diagnostics of 37 small and small banks.

"After the diagnosis, two banks were found insolvent, two stopped their activities, the remaining 33 did not require capitalization, based on the quality of assets," - said the deputy head of the National Bank.
