The roadway of the arched passage of the Crimean bridge was removed from the berth and went to piers where it would be moved to floating supports, thus repeating the path of its "fellow" - the railway arch. By now, the huge construction of the builders moved already at 50 m. , reports on Tuesday, September 19, the agency Kryminform.

The arched passage moves by means of jacks on the rolling piers on the so-called skids - metal structures with a polished sheet at the bottom. On the fairways of the bridge there are already installed special beams - crossbars. They are preparing work sites for the installation of jacks, through which the vehicle span will be raised to a height of 35 meters.

"The sea operation for the installation of the road bridge of the Crimean bridge is scheduled for the end of September and October, taking into account the weather conditions," the press-service of the customer of the facility under construction - FKU "Uprdor" Taman ".

The road arched span was assembled on a special site in Kerch at the end of this July. The whole construction consists of 200 large elements, assembling its builders twisted 175 thousand high-strength bolts and performed about 4.5 km of butt welds of the first category. The arch is painted white and weighs about 5 thousand tons.



Earlier, on August 29 of this year, over the channel of the Kerch-Enikalsky canal, a railway arch was installed on the supports of the Crimean bridge. Then the most complicated and the first such operation for domestic builders took less than three days. On the same day, under the archway, the first ship - the dry cargo ship "Saint Alexis".

Recall, the beginning of traffic on the bridge is scheduled for December 2018. , trains - a year later, in December 2019.
