Bankruptcy threatens 8 million Russians

Experts of the United Credit Bureau have calculated the number of potential bankrupts in Russia. As of August 1, 2017. , in this category fell 660 thousand. human. In general, experts say, a citizen who has one open loan risks becoming insolvent in 16% of cases. Most often, such a borrower has a debt of over 1.4 million rubles. But bankruptcy among the holders of two loans at the same time is much larger - 21%, three - 19%.



If we consider the purposes for which the loan was taken, then the car owners are the least likely to assess their financial capabilities: among citizens who have received a car loan, 10.2% become bankrupt. In second place, mortgage lenders - 5.8% do not have the means to repay the loan. For a long delay on credit cards account for 5% of cases.

As analysts say, most often Russians stop paying on a loan, when the amount of debt reaches 754 thousand. rub. At present, the total debt to credit institutions has reached 10.8 trillion rubles.
