One of the representatives of the so-called Russian cellular four is Megafon, apparently, decided to amicably settle the dispute with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia on the abolition of roaming tariffs.

So it is or not, but the fact remains - Megafon withdrew its suit, registered by the Arbitration Court of Moscow on August 15, in which it demanded to recognize as invalid the warning of the service on tariffs for roaming. The withdrawal of the claim was published on the website of the Moscow Arbitration Court.

"The above-mentioned applicant notified the court of the revocation of the application. In this regard, the court considers it possible to satisfy the request, returning the application, "- is given in the publication.

At the moment, Megafon does not comment on the information that appeared, however, as well as the reasons for the reasons for withdrawing the claim.

Not so long ago, FAS decided to abolish national roaming in Russia. Under the concept of national roaming, the subscriber's ability to use the services of his operator's communication on the territory of Russia is determined, not being at the same time in the home network.

However, the "Big Four" resented this. According to cellular operators, the mechanism of equalizing prices for national roaming is not quite clear. In other words - at what tariffs do you charge the subscriber for the calls. For example, if a user is in Vladivostok with the number of a Moscow switch, how should he pay? At the rates of local or metropolitan?.

FAS suggested operators understand this issue, which caused additional dissatisfaction with the cell phone. After the representatives of the big four in every possible way delayed the implementation of the decision of the agency, the FAS initiated the case on VimpelCom, MTS, Megafon and Tele2,.

According to the FAS warning, the operators undertook to change the tariffs for communication services during trips around the country, excluding the unjustified price difference, within 14 days from the receipt of the warning. However, all four did not comply with the injunction until the deadline, which was extended until August 13. Three did not send a motivated refusal at all. And in the "Megaphone" such claims were called draconian and, after complaining about possible losses of several billion rubles, threatened the antimonopolists to solve the issue in a judicial procedure.
