Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine warned Ukrainians of the danger in connection with the outbreaks of fires in Greece. The Department of Consular Service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports that local authorities urge tourists and residents of the country to be cautious.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in the Kalipha area in Greece, forest fires are raging, Fire broke out last Monday about 18 miles south of Athens, and quickly spread due to strong winds and heat.

According to Greek authorities, by the end of the week around 70 firefighters were working in the area covered by fire, as well as more than 30 fire engines and five helicopters.
