Sergei Udaltsov, one of the most famous Russian oppositionists, at the first press conference after the release of the press, appears with a broad patriotic program - supports the annexation of the Crimea, admires the occupation of Donbass and regrets that Russia failed to capture the entire east of Ukraine. However, after the Crimean explanations of Alexei Navalny, after the aphorism that has already become a statement about the "sandwich", in this position of another opposition activist there is nothing surprising. Another thing is surprising - why is this still called the opposition?.
The participants in the assassination attempt on Hitler on July 20, 1944 were much more resolute in their attitude to the dictatorship than the Russian oppositionists in relation to their own power, and almost all of them paid with their lives. In modern Germany these people are national heroes, a symbol of the struggle against Nazism. But there is one uneasy question: how much did the views of the organizers and conspirators differ from the views of the Fuhrer himself? Did they think about the future of Germany as a democratic country? Or just wanted to get rid of Hitler, who led the country to the abyss?.
I'm not going to question the heroism of people who sacrificed themselves for the destruction of the behemoth. I'm just trying to explain that they were the product of a sick German society. And not Hitler was the cause of this disease. This disease gave rise to Hitler - a disease of imperialist revanchism. German society began to recover only after the defeat in a terrible war - and the result of its recovery was modern effective democracy, which remains today almost the last hope of sensible people around the world.
So, the Russian society is affected by the same pre-war German disease - disease of the imperialist revanchism. This disease gave birth to Putin, but he is also infected with it. And Bulk. And Udaltsov. And others. Every Russian who does not realize that the occupation of the Crimea and Donbas, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria is the main problem of his country, is sick. Every Russian who does not understand how destructive for his country interference in Syria and other ridiculous attempts to demonstrate the "grandeur" of a poor marginal state sitting on an oil needle is sick. Every Russian who, instead of thinking about saving the country, gives advice to Ukrainians or Georgians, who they vote for and with whom to be friends - is sick. And I'm not sure that all these people are curable at all without some serious shock. But I do not want to shock either - God forbid that anyone should recover as the Germans recovered.
Do not believe those who will assure you that saving the country in free elections. Hitler also won in free elections. And would not have won, it would have been stopped by a bloc of conservatives or Communists. Germany brought to the disaster of Hindenburg, and would lead to the collapse of Papen or Telman, what's the difference? Recovery was not foreseen.
Do not believe those who tell you that the main thing - is to defeat corruption. The slogan of fighting corruption is generally a good thing for those who do not want to change anything for real.. The fight against corruption will only work in recovering the country that wants to change, which is unable to abandon their historical complexes. In the sick state, the most effective fighters against corruption are Hitler and Mussolini. Or Stalin, who shot all the decomposed apparatus in the 1930s and replaced him with "young effective managers," as far as I understand, this is what Udaltsov expects from Putin.
It is not necessary to tell tales that the main thing is to get power, and only after that "to agree with all". First, no authorities who do not consider themselves oppositionists will receive any power - they will continue to rush between prisons and abroad. Secondly, if they receive, they will not change anything and will not agree with anyone.
A hundred years ago, the Bolsheviks also tossed between prisons and abroad, and when they came to power, they infested not only Russia, but Ukraine, the Caucasus, the Baltic, and Finland, Poland, and Central Asia with blood - such is the "right of nations to self-determination " happened.
For a person who understands that imperialist insanity is the main problem of Russians, Putin, Khodorkovsky, Navalny or Udaltsov look like patients of the same leprosarium, only divorced in different chambers. It is this commonality of the disease that causes real horror.
