On Tuesday, the emergency response in the energy sector expires

This was stated in the governmental order, which put in place emergency measures in the energy sector from February 17, 2017 for a month. At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended their period of validity on a monthly basis. The last time the emergency measures in the energy sector were extended for another month until July 17.

Earlier, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Igor Nasalik said that the Cabinet no longer intends to extend emergency measures in the energy sector.



As reported URA-Inform, Nasalik stated that the government does not have such intentions. Emergency measures in the energy sector, stipulated by the government decree No. 103-r of February 15, 2017, came into force on February 17 because of the blockade of supplies of goods from the ATU zone, in particular, coal from the anthracite group, the minister recalled, adding that in the past Month, the government extended the duration of emergency measures in the electricity market until July 17.
