The virus negatively affected the ability of taxpayers to fulfill their duties,. The Ministry of Finance press service reported that on Monday, July 3, according to the data of the financial department, the problem of registration of tax invoices issued from 1 to 15 June proved to be the most painful and massive..

For late registration of tax bills, penalties are provided, but the agency understands that in the event that such registration was not due to the virus, then the payer's fault is not.

Unfortunately, the current Tax Code does not provide for norms that would exempt the payer from liability in such a case, the Finance Ministry explained, adding that in connection with this, a draft amendment to the Tax Code has already been prepared that would allow the payers to be released from penalties for untimely Registration of tax bills that were issued from 1 to 15 June, and which will be registered before July 15.

At the same time, the Ministry of Finance believes that on July 4 the draft law will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers, and then in the Verkhovna Rada and expect that the parliament will have time to vote for it before the holidays.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, for the first day of cyberpolicy has received more than a thousand messages about the virus Petya.
