In Ukraine, increased production of dairy products

This information is reported by the State Statistics Committee.

The report says that in May 2017, compared to the same period last year, the production of yoghurt and other fermented milk or cream increased by 9.4% - to 38.2 thousand tons.

At the same time, the annual oil production increased by 8.3% to 11.2 thousand tonnes.

The production of fresh unfermented cheese (including cottage cheese) increased by 0.8% - in May 2017 it was produced 5.9 thousand tons of product.

Along with this, in May, Ukraine reduced the production of rennet and melted cheese - by 8.9% - to 10.6 thousand tons.

Earlier, URA-Inform reported that in May Ukraine reduced the production of vodka.
