According to the agency, in April the average salary of Ukrainians was 6 659 hryvnia. Thus, for a month the salary grew by 181 hryvna.
Compared to May 2016, the average salary grew by 37.2%. Real wages in May this year compared with April increased by 1.4%, compared to May 2016 - by 20.4%.
At the same time, at the moment, the highest wages have traditionally been recorded by aviation industry employees. Workers in this sphere receive an average of 29 428 hryvnia per month.
On the second place - financiers and insurance agents. They receive - 12 528 UAH. Employees of the information and telecommunications industries received an average of 11 440 hryvnas, technicians scientists - 9 655 hryvnia, and the average salary in agriculture is 5 867 hryvnia. At the same time, in the industry the salary is 7,289 hryvnia, and the least in the camp are employees of mail and couriers, who pay UAH 3,764 a month.
By regions, the largest average salary is traditionally in Kiev, where people receive an average of 10 558 UAH per month. In second place Donetsk region - 7 742 hryvnia.
The lowest average salary in the Chernivtsi and Ternopil regions - UAH 5,284 and UAH 5,349, respectively.
The State Statistics Committee warns that the calculations are made without taking into account the temporarily occupied territory of the Crimea, the city of Sevastopol and part of the zone of the antiterrorist operation.
