Ministry of Social Policy against the transfer of these changes for 2020. They require agreement with the International Monetary Fund. This was announced on Tuesday, June 20, by the head of the department, Andrei Reva.

According to him, out of all the proposals that the National Council of Reforms made to the draft pension reform, only this affects its basic parameters and, if approved by the government, will require agreement with the IMF.

I am personally against this, the basic parameters of the pension reform have already been agreed and their revision can not be without additional consultation, since this is a fundamental point.

Most likely, my personal position will be that it can not be done, "the minister said, answering journalists' question.

At the same time, Reva stressed that, given the time and effort already spent on harmonizing the basic parameters of the draft reform, introducing serious changes into it with the need for their subsequent coordination with the IMF will only prolong the process of adopting the reform.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, June 16 at a meeting of the National Council of Reforms, a proposal was made to postpone an increase in the minimum insurance length as of January 1, 2020, in order to give citizens the opportunity to adapt to changes.
