Cabinet expects a three-year weakening of the hryvnia

The budget resolution for the next three years, approved by the Government of Ukraine, provides for a gradual decrease in the average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar. As stated in the text of the resolution promulgated on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in the basic scenario, in particular, it is said that this year the average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia is projected at UAH 27.8 per dollar, in 2018 - at UAH 29.3 per Dollar, in 2019 - 30.

5 hryvnia per dollar, and in 2020 - 31 hryvnia per dollar.

At the same time, the Cabinet forecasts GDP growth at 1.8% in 2017, 3% in 2018, 3.9% in 2019 and 4% in 2020.

At the same time, the inflation rate is expected to reach 11.2% in 2017, 10% 7 in 2018, 5.9% in 2019 and 5% in 2020.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, previously Gosstat improved estimates of GDP growth in Ukraine in the first quarter of 2017 in relation to the same period in 2016 amounted to 2.5%.
