This is the most acceptable size of the minimum pension for a Ukrainian. Such an opinion on Monday, June 12, on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels was expressed by the Minister of Social Policy Andrey Reva.

He also recalled that today there is a limit on the payment of a pension of 10,740 UAH. That is, with any calculations that are made for new pensioners, the pension is paid in hands no more than this amount. The exception is those people who before the introduction of the legislative ban received a pension higher.

Today, we have about 20 thousand across Ukraine from 12 million pensioners, - said the minister, adding that the largest pension in Ukraine is given to a citizen, test pilot, Hero of Ukraine. His monthly pension is 58 thousand hryvnia.

At the same time, the minister stressed that talking about 100-200 thousand hryvnia pensions "this is still talk".

Recall, the Cabinet adopted a draft pension reform in Ukraine on May 17. In particular, it provides for an annual automatic indexing. In addition, the retirement age remains 60 years for people who have a work record of 25 years.
