The Ministry of Justice has worked out a mechanism for collecting the funds from Gazprom by a decision of the Ukrainian court. This was stated by the Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko, the correspondent of LIGA. Net.
Petrenko recalled that a decision was made to recover from Gazprom over abusing a monopoly position of more than 172 billion UAH.
"We have worked out mechanisms for collecting funds and other property of the company, including through the use of legal aid and cooperation with other countries ... Petrenko also noted that there are no assets worth 172 billion UAH from Gazprom on the territory of Ukraine.
"We will cooperate with countries in which there are assets and funds of Gazprom and raise the issue of implementation of decisions of Ukrainian courts, and in the future and international courts to recover debts from Gazprom. On the territory of the free world there are clear principles: if you lost, if you owe money or property - you have to pay ...
