President Vladimir Putin announced the need to index the salaries of part of state employees who are not covered by the "May decrees". The government of the country is instructed to work out this question in the shortest possible time, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports..
During a meeting with members of the government in the Kremlin, during which he discussed the execution of decrees on increasing the salaries of state employees, Vladimir Putin noted that this issue is significant for millions of people, and the country in 2018 should reach the set parameters for so-called "state" budget employees.
According to the president, obligations in the regions are being fulfilled, but in some regions of the Russian Federation difficulties arise that the government needs to understand.
Putin stressed that a number of categories of state employees did not raise their salaries for several years and this situation needs to be corrected.
"The May decrees did not cover all employees of the public sector. For a number of categories, wages have not increased for several years. And these "non-indicative" categories need to be indexed, "- writes with reference to the head of state" Rossiyskaya Gazeta ".
At the same time, the President emphasizes that indexation should be carried out taking into account inflation and real opportunities of both federal and regional budgets.
