The National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the energy and utilities sector, adopted a corresponding decree as early as April 26, and on May 11 it was published by the newspaper Uryadovy Courier. According to the document, which came into force the day after the publication, tariffs were raised for 24 water utilities of Ukraine. Thus, cold water has risen in price in Kiev, Lviv, Rivne, Dnepropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky, Irpen, Vishnev, Boyarka, Kamenets-Podolsky, Pavlograd, Lisichansk, Kolomyia and other cities.
At the same time, the price increase rate ranges from 7% to 28% and the biggest percentage growth was in Lviv.
Behind him is Rivne and Kiev. So, for Kiev, prices increased by 14.7% and now amount to 15 hryvnia 79.2 kopecks per cubic meter then, as earlier residents of the capital paid 13.77 hryvnia.
Accordingly, for the hot water disposal, now it is necessary to pay 7.52 hryvnia, whereas earlier it cost 6.93 hryvnia.
The reasons for the increase in tariffs in the NCREP are the decrease in the volume of services, the growth of the minimum wage, the increase in electricity prices, the accounting for the cost of verification of meters in the private sector.
Recall, as reported URA-Inform, in January 2017 g. Tariff for heating and hot water in Ukraine increased by 88.4%.
