Now the inscription GOST on the packaging is a matter of the manufacturer. Naturally, in order to have the right to apply this sign, it is necessary to pass appropriate tests. However, not all relate to this issue responsibly. Some establish internal quality standards that seriously differ from the generally accepted formula, and at the same time they put GOST, because this sign is guaranteed to attract buyers. But, having bought, for example, a bar of chocolate, you can not be sure of the percentage of cocoa, milk and other ingredients, until you bite a piece.

From next year, the test for compliance with GOST will also remain voluntary, however, for applying the marking without obtaining permission from Rosstandart, administrative responsibility will be imposed in the form of a fine of up to 500 thousand. rub. , And in the case of multiple violations and unscrupulous producers will be judged already under a criminal article. Otherwise, fair competition in the market is not achieved.
