The European Union lifted restrictions on the importation of poultry from most regions of Ukraine. Export from Ukraine to the European Union resumed after the ban due to bird flu. This is reported by the State Service of Ukraine on food safety and consumer protection. Since February, there have been no recorded cases of bird flu in Ukraine, so the ban on import was decided to liquidate. A total of 9 cases of avian influenza have been recorded in Ukraine since November 2016, the last case was registered on February 15, 2017. Recall earlier reported that Ukraine will ask the EU to increase quotas on goods. Ukrainians in the year of 2017 earned $ 37 million on honey.
