From the salary of people's deputies from the beginning of the year, it was withdrawn 1.7 million UAH for the missed sessions of the Verkhovna Rada, the Committee of Voters of Ukraine reports with reference to the reply of the parliament's apparatus.

According to the current regulations, if a deputy misses a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, then his salary is not charged for this time. According to the KIA study, only 10% (41 of 423) of the deputies visited all sessions of the Verkhovna Rada in 2017. The other deputies missed one or several parliamentary sessions, respectively, they did not receive part of the salary.

Individual deputies did not appear in parliament for months. So, in January-February five people's deputies missed all meetings of the Verkhovna Rada, in March - eight, in April - seven.

In April, all meetings of the Rada, according to the written and electronic registration data, were missed by Dmitry Yarosh, Andrei Beletsky, Petr Sabashuk, Yevgeny Bakulin, Vyacheslav Boguslaev, Alexander Onishchenko, Sergey Klyuev.

On average, 86% of the deputies of the Popular Front faction, 84% of the BCP and the Radical Party. The worst attendance rates in the deputy groups "The Will of the People" (64%) and "Vidrodzhennya" (65%).

In total in 2017 42 plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada took place.
