Top management of Rinat Akhmetov holding DTEK confirms that the formula for the formation of tariffs for electricity and "Rotterdam +" is still used.
DTEK's CEO Maxim Timchenko in an interview with Economic Pravda, published on Thursday, April 27, affirmatively answered the question of the functioning of the formula in the current conditions.
"Prices went up, and a 12-month lag did not allow to reflect the real spot price in the tariff.
Accordingly, there is always a backlog ... The formula works in terms of the fact that the wholesale market price for electricity is formed on its basis, "explained Timsenko.
Recall, in March, NKRECU approved the methodology for the formation of the wholesale price of electricity. According to the methodology, the cost of coal in the production of coal-thermal generation is considered by the formula "the cost of coal in the port of Rotterdam, plus the cost of its delivery to Ukraine".
