The international airport "Kiev" (Zhulyany) temporarily suspended the dialogue with the largest European loukosterom Ryanair, said the chairman of the board of directors of the airport "Kiev" Denis Kostrzhevsky, transmit "Ukrainian News".

According to him, Ryanair expects that the airport "Kiev" will reduce the airport tax on average by 60-80%. However, in Ukraine this fee is a regulated tariff, which includes the cost of fuel, heating, staff salaries and other.

According Kostrzhevsky, in Europe there are state subsidies for airports, and in Ukraine there is no such.

"How can you provide 80% or even 50% of the discount from this price, if the profitability in it is laid only about 10%. It is economically unprofitable. Accordingly, the expectations expressed by Ryanair regarding the provision of discounts for airport services are fundamentally different from our economic model of airport operation. It is for this reason that we suspended the negotiations, "the airport representative said..

Earlier it was reported that the low-cost Ryanair until the end of 2017 will launch 11 flights from Kiev and Lviv. The first flights from Ukraine will take place in October. From Kiev, the loukost will fly to London, Manchester, Eindhoven and Stockholm, and from Lviv - to London, Eindhoven, Berlin, Wroclaw, Krakow, Budapest, Memmingen.

Flights to Eindhoven and Manchester will be operated 3 times a week, to London - 5 times a week, and to Stockholm - 4 times a week. The company counts on the passenger traffic from Kiev in the amount of 250 thousand people.
