The National Bank of Ukraine and the Ministry of Finance agree on the final figure for the capitalization of Privatbank in late April. This was reported by the head of the NBU Valery Gontarev in Washington, answering the question of the journalist of the TV channel "1 + 1" about the E & Y report.

"This is not yet an officially published E & Y report. Of course, as the head of the National Bank, I already saw the preliminary result. And this result is even worse than before. 143 billion UAH is not all the losses that our state will receive because of all the wrong actions and fraud of this bank. The last fraud-transaction "Privatbank" was the size of 16 billion UAH.

The state may cover 30 billion UAH in this bank, but, unfortunately, the result, which you will see soon, may be higher, "she said..

NBU will make calculations, and the capitalization itself should be made by the Ministry of Finance.

"We agree with the Minister of Finance when we study all the E & Y figures, and after that we will decide what exactly amount we will deposit into this bank. It will be at the end of this month. And you will see how it works in Ukraine, "added Gontareva.
