The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is ready to submit a package of bills to the parliament in the near future, which will allow launching large-scale competitive privatization. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, reports LIGA with reference to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"We are preparing now with the team of the Ministry of Economic Development, a team of the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers, the office of reforms of the Prime Minister legislation that will allow us to sell state property by the ProZorro system. We will introduce, in the package of necessary reforms, including changes to the law on privatization. I would like to make the VIII convocation until the end of the sixth session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VIII convocation to the parliament and even so that we can vote something, "the prime minister said..

He added that today in Ukraine there are 3.5 thousand. State enterprises, half of which are bankrupt, and only 30% are profitable, and on the other - "parasitize".

"Over the past decades, inefficient state-owned enterprises have inflicted 82 billion UAH in losses on the country.

This is a catastrophe. They should just be sold competitively, "Groysman said..

The head of government also considers it necessary to hire advisors - world-famous experts who provide preparation of the facility for privatization in such a way that the state can get the maximum income.

Recall, according to a memorandum signed with the International Monetary Fund, Ukraine pledged until the end of 2017. Privatize the IPF and five energy companies.
