The Russian economy has entered a stage of growth. This was announced by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to President Vladimir Putin on Monday, April 17. The head of the government was summoned to the Kremlin on the eve of the report, which he will have to hold the other day before the State Duma deputies.

The list of achievements of the Russian economy, which the Prime Minister intends to please the people's deputies, is quite large this year. First and foremost, it is important to note the fact that finally got off the oil needle: "In the last year, almost two-thirds, and in other words, 64%, of revenues are generated from non-primary sources," Medvedev reported to Putin, to whom he brought Theses of speech in the State Duma, scheduled for Wednesday, April 19. This means that the structure of the country's economy is changing. Of course, this is partly due to a fall in oil prices, but in any case it is a positive trend that the head of government intends to support.

Another gratifying moment is that Russians get the opportunity to buy products without inflation premiums. A few years ago, inflation was a two-digit number, and now it's an unprecedented 5% - and even 4% is projected for 2017. This makes it possible for citizens to better plan their expenses, the Prime Minister stressed..

Confidence in the future day adds and extremely low unemployment in Russia: last year, according to Medvedev, it was 5.5%, it should be even lower. Compared with unemployment in European countries, where it reaches 10 percent or more, we have something to be proud of, the prime minister said..

At the same time, Russians have a chance to work successfully in various fields. The growth of industrial production for the year amounted to 1.3%, but this is an average. If we take specific industries, that is, simply staggering results. In particular, the pharmaceutical industry has risen by 24%: "Now 70% of vital medicines are produced in Russia. Therefore, they are simply cheaper, because they are not bought for currency. Such industrial growth, of course, creates a positive background for development, "- said Medvedev.

The reason for jubilation is given by agriculture: a joke - 5% growth over the past year. Yes, the country has been going for this for 15 long years, agreed the prime minister, but now local farmers themselves feed the whole country, moreover they also have a huge export potential. And at the expense of agriculture, mechanical engineering is also developing: production of combines, tractors and other necessary equipment for farmers increased by 60%, Medvedev said..

In addition, the national debt of the country is declining, the government is working to reduce the budget deficit, while maintaining a tax moratorium. However, it is unlikely that it will last for long, the prime minister has made clear: the Cabinet is now working on the tax reform, which Putin commissioned to prepare.

All these moments the prime minister intends to inform the deputies. However, as Putin warned, questions from the people's representatives to the government set. Therefore, those moments about which the head of government at a meeting in the Kremlin modestly kept silent, most likely, will be raised in the State Duma. As it turned out on the eve, the leader of the country also has a number of remarks to the work of the government. So Medvedev's speech before the deputies will definitely not remain in the form of a dry report.
