The hryvnia exchange rate on the interbank foreign exchange market on Friday, March 24, has strengthened to 27.14 UAH / dollar from 27.15 UAH / USD to the end of trading on the previous business day.

As the dealers of commercial banks reported, quotes of hryvnia to the end of trading amounted to 27.12-27.16 UAH / dollar.

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) did not hold an auction on that day.

According to the NBU, the weighted average rate of the hryvnia on the interbank foreign exchange market on this day fell to 27.1246 UAH / dollar from 27.0577 UAH / USD on the previous business day.

The trade turnover amounted to 202.88 million dollars, whereas on the previous working day amounted to 274.84 million dollars.

Recall that on March 19, the IMF Board of Directors postponed the March 20 scheduled review of the issue of the completion of the third revision of the expanded financing program for Ukraine. In the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, this decision was clarified by the need to clarify the calculations regarding the economic consequences of measures taken by Ukraine in response to the blockade and the seizure of Ukrainian enterprises on the uncontrolled territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as in connection with the recognition by the Russian side of the "documents" issued on these Territories.
