The Cabinet of Ministers approved the formula for calculating the payment for heat supply for consumers who do not have apartment or house heat meters. This decision is fixed by Government Decision No. 156 of March 16, 2017, which is published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the report, these changes will provide objective conditions for accrual to consumers without meters of payment for the heat supply service depending on the temperature of the outside air and the actual period of service provision.

It is assumed that there will be a fair redistribution of fees between the months of the heating season (a warm month - less amount, a cold month - more amount).

"The decision was made to avoid ambiguous interpretation of the norms by the enterprises producing or executing the services for centralized heating, which leads to a discrepancy in the accrued fees for changes in the temperature of the outside air during the month," reads the website of the government.

Recall that the total debt of the capital electricity consumers to the company "Kyivenergo" from the beginning of 2017 increased by 19%.

Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers had decided to reduce social standards for the use of housing and communal services, taking into account the actual consumption of energy carriers by households.

The National Commission, which carries out state regulation in the energy and utilities sectors, approved the increase in tariffs for electricity and heat supply for CHP plants and cogeneration plants from February 1, 2017.
