From January 1, 2026, Ukrainians over 40 years of age will be able to receive UAH 2,000 to pay for medical screening through Diya. Card. The program provides for a comprehensive examination and consultation of doctors in institutions included in the list of NSZU (National Health Service of Ukraine).
The Ministry of Health reported this in response to a media request.. It is noted that the program’s funding is UAH 10 billion.. After reaching 40 years of age, every person will automatically receive a notification in the Diya application 30 days after their birthday. The message will ask you to undergo screening.. After confirmation of participation, funds in the amount of 2000 UAH are credited non-cash to Diya. Card, and they can only be used to pay for services in medical institutions included in the list of NHSU.
Subscribers can choose both public and private or municipal medical institutions. Registration for an examination is possible regardless of the patient’s place of residence or registration, namely, the examination lasts 60-90 minutes and is carried out within one visit. For people who do not use the Diya application, there is an alternative: you can apply for a plastic bank card, submit an application to the CNAP, and a week later receive a notification about the crediting of funds and undergo the same screening.
After completing the examination, the doctor gives the patient individual recommendations on maintaining or improving health. If risks or deviations are identified, the patient is immediately given a referral to the appropriate specialist, and the system monitors the implementation of this route.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that after 40 years of age, the risks of developing chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and mental health problems increase sharply.. The program is aimed at early detection of these problems, especially among people who do not usually see a doctor and do not control their condition.
