In Ireland, aircraft and ships were sold, which previously belonged to the Russian GTLK (Russia of the State Transport Leasing Company). About 345 million dollars helped out. This is reported by the Russian online media The Moscow Times.

Before the full -scale war in Ukraine, the GTLK group consisted of 76 companies with assets of $ 4.5 billion, which formed at the expense of the VEB of the Russian Federation - the State Corporation of the Development of Russia and the National Welfare Fund of the Russian Federation. But in 2022, the whole business was transferred to Russia, and foreign companies were lost.

The main European office of GTLK was the Irish company GTLK Europe. About 30 people worked in it, mostly Irish. After the sanctions on March 15, 2022, employees began to quit, and the company was crisis, especially after blocking the accounts of JP Morgan.

In August 2023, the largest liquidation in the history of Ireland received a license to Teneo Restructoring Ireland. She was supposed to find the planes and ships GTLK Europe and close debts. According to estimates in mid -2023, the GTLK Europe assets amounted to $ 2.8 billion, and debts exceeded $ 4.1 billion, among them bonds by $ 2.75 billion.

GTLK Europe customers were airlines such as Aeroflot, Emirates, Qatar and Easyjet, which operated about 70 aircraft and 13 ships in 18 countries.

Teneo Restructoring Ireland was able to intercept two dozen Airbus and Boeing airlines from the airline Park Easyjet, Royal Jordanian, Red Wings and others. Teneo also discovered three Arctic cruise vessels at the shipyard in Helsinki.

Ukraine claimed some of the assets, but the London court found no reason for claims.

The liquidators last year began the sale of assets and announced plans to sell 20 aircraft by 2025. According to the latest reporting Teneo, from May 31 to October 30, GTLK Europe was sold at $ 345 million. GTLK tried to stop the sale, but the decisions of the Russian court in Ireland were ignored.

Recall that in Germany they sell the most expensive villa in the country for 25 million euros. A luxurious mansion on the shores of the alpine lake belonged to Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov.
