A well-known researcher of abandoned places named Dave, leading blog Freaktography, discovered a magnificent but now abandoned building of the central terminal of Buffalo in the state of New York (USA). He told about this in one of his video on YouTube.
The once busy railway station, opened in 1929, once served as an important transport hub, but now it is in desolation, as if remaining in the past.
Dave found the station, studying its history on the Internet, and went to the place to capture its current appearance. Inside, he discovered empty ticket offices, ancient statues and huge hours, the arrows of which froze at 12:54. Despite the years of abandonment, the building struck the researcher with his relatively good condition: the roof and walls were preserved, and the floors remained quite clean.
Outside, the station looks darker - boarded up windows, dilapidated platforms, overgrown stairs and rusty railway tracks. Although the paths on both sides of the station are still used, trains no longer stop here.
However, the future of the central terminal of Buffalo may change. According to Dave, local organizations and volunteers are actively working on the restoration of the building, hoping to turn it into a public and cultural center.
" This is a symbol of the power of preservation and pride of the city, which regains its history, ”the researcher emphasized.
Focus previously reported that the castle, which belonged to one family for 700 years, was first put up for sale.
Possession includes not only the magnificent building itself, but also 445 acres of land, as well as a lake, pub, a helicopter platform, parking and a village store. In addition, there are a screaming field, a hotel, a tea and souvenir store on the territory.
It also became known that the elite district turned into a landfill with empty mansions. The avenue served as a haven for world celebrities, including Justin Bieber and Sultan Brunei. However, now the luxurious mansions that cost millions are boarded up with metal sheets and covered with graffiti.
