Melissa Amos swapped a stellar career in the automotive industry for spiritual guidance after getting a massage from a stranger.. The Daily Star writes about this.
Melissa had a career that she adored, but which was "
" I loved my job, but it had a negative impact on my mental health, well-being, and even physical health.. I was overworked, stressed, and wondering why, despite everything being fine on paper, I experienced high levels of anxiety, and sometimes even hoped that my cars would break down on the way to work so I could have some peace of mind..
She believes a turning point of spiritual healing was all that was needed to get out of depression.
" So I found a local woman who gave massages and called her to my home.. At the end of the session, she put her hands above my head, and I suddenly felt that everything became calm, and it was as if some kind of burden had been lifted from me. I asked her what it was - she replied that it was Reiki,” the woman explained.
Melissa didn't really believe in energy healing, but after the Reiki session she felt that things didn't seem so catastrophic anymore. The woman even felt as if the pain in her back had left her, and everything she touched seemed to turn into gold.. So Melissa decided to learn Reiki on her own..
" I felt the warmth coming from my hands, a feeling of peace. Three weeks later, I walked into the showroom and it seemed like everything around me was screaming at me to get out of there,” said Melissa.
The woman became obsessed with summits and seminars on the topic “mind-body-soul” and eventually left her full-time job and went out on her own..
“I started sitting in a circle, connecting with spirit, reading tarot and helping people through life changes.
I now have a worldwide spiritual mentoring business.. I help people discover their past lives, understand who they are, and how to live on purpose.. And all this thanks to a chance meeting with a masseuse who decided to give me a little try of Reiki,” noted Melissa.
Let us remind you that a woman has been rummaging through trash cans for four years instead of going to the supermarket to buy groceries..
